Gettemy wants to get job done in Washington
Jun. 3, 2010 12:42 am
After the last election, I think it's vital that we know who we're voting for. Recently, I attended a luncheon to hear the four conservative candidates running for the 2nd Congressional District. Rob Gettemy started to speak - what a breath of fresh air. Finally, a non-politician. When asked why he wanted to go to Washington, he said he didn't. I remember a famous leader, named George, who once said that. That's who I want to elect - go get the job done and come home and pay taxes like the rest of us.
Gettemy has a background in business, previously employed as a vice president of sales, and now runs a business. He also teaches entrepreneurship and startup of businesses at the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business. He really motivates his students with sound ideas. You ought to read their testimonials on his website, www.gettemyforthepeople.com
He is a great communicator. He knows how businesses create jobs. He believes in the spirit of the American people, the Constitution, national defense and pro-life - a consistent conservative and not a politician. He's truthful and honest and hardworking - someone who wants to go and get a job done.
