Crews respond to gas leak in Hiawatha
Hiawatha Fire Department responded to a gas leak at Sunset Village Mobile Home Court on the 500 Block of Robins Road in Hiawatha.
Gee Grading and Excavating snagged a gas line at lot 214 in Sunset Trail Court while working.
Hiawatha Fire Chief Mike Nesslage said that ten homes where evacuated. The gas line was pinched off a little before 3 p.m.
