Linn County inmate released to find job doesn’t return

Authorities are on the look out for an inmate who was released from jail to look for a job and didn't return.
Joshua McCool, 20, was serving 90 days at the Linn County Jail for a probation violation. He started his sentence June 22, but he was granted work release by the court.
He was released Monday at 9 a.m. to find a job, and was required to return at 3 p.m., but he did not come back, authorities said. McCool now faces an escape charge.
McCool is described as a black male, 5-foot-11 and 162 pounds. He address is listed as 3701 16th Ave. SW, Lot 41.
