Billy Ballew blow front tires

Eric Almirola and Steve Wallace have something more in common than just competing for Billy Ballew Motorsports. The driving duo found their run in the NASCAR Camping World Trucks Series Lucas Oil 200 at Iowa Speedway on Sunday end the exact same way.
Both drivers were forced off the road after blowing out the front right tire between Turns 1 and 2 on their trucks. Wallace, the son of NASCAR driver Rusty Wallace, completed 38 laps, while Almirola logged trips around the short oval race track.
After his racing was done for the day, Almirola was asked if the similar troubles were set-up problems.
"It obviously looks lik that," said Almirola, who entered the race second in the series points standings and trails leader Todd Bodine by 88 points after Sunday. "We didn't think we were that aggressive on our cambers (Saturday)."
Almirola said his car was running fine, but Wallace said he battled clutch problems. He was set to pit to try and correct the problem but suffered the tire problem.
"I must have run over something because our tire wear has been great all week on the right- front corner of my Toyota," Wallace said. "The right front just completely blew apart and we hit the wall and destroyed this thing."
Almirola ended in 28th place, while Wallace was 30th.
