Cedar Rapids Police investigate suspicious package
Police and fire units responded to a call on Richmond Avenue just off of Center Point Road NE.
Cedar Rapids Police Sgt. J.D. Verschone said authorities were investigating a suspicious package.
It turned out to be a telephone inter phase box inside a cardboard box. Police have opened the street back up.
