Some advice before you head to voting booths
The Gazette Opinion Staff

For an extremely left-leaning newspaper - name one that is not - I commend your rationale in the July 9 Gazette Editorial titled “The road to economic recovery.” Most of the misery being put on the jobless is a direct result of the politicians for whom these people voted. Your reasonings in the second half of your editorial are quite correct.
To all of us, along with the unemployed, remember these thoughts when going into the voting booth this November, and in 2012.
1.) Make sure you (voter) and the candidate you are voting for have a clear understanding of our Constitution. It worked very well until Woodrow Wilson got into office (another progressive).
2.) History tells us that when the taxpayer has more money in our pockets, this economy just keeps on going.
3.) Eliminate the cousins of the Marx brothers, who are not in office. That would be: Groucho Obama, Harpo Harkin, Chico Braley and Zeppo Loebsack. My apologies to the Marx family.
