Sweeney to sign with Blue Jays on Monday
Toronto Blue Jays on Monday, according to Sweeney's father, Gary.
Kellen will leave Cedar Rapids for the Blue Jays' minor-league base in Dunedin, Fla., on Sunday and will take a physical Monday morning. When he passes, he will sign a contract that includes a $600,000 bonus.
Sweeney was a second-round draft pick of the Jays in June.
