Only 2 seats remain unsold at Kinnick this fall

IOWA CITY - As of Friday afternoon, only two seats remained unsold in Kinnick Stadium this fall.
All general admission tickets for Iowa's seven home football games are gone. The school sold more than 59,000 season tickets, an increase of 11,000 from a year ago.
All of Iowa's 46 available luxury suites are sold out. Last year, the school rented out two on a game-by-game basis.
“We've got a waiting list of outdoor club seats of about 150,” said Mark Jennings, Iowa's associate athletics director for donor and patron services. “For the first time ever we'll probably sell all of the indoor clubs. We've got two of them left.”
The indoor club seats require a $5,000 donation to the University of Iowa Foundation in order to buy the seats.
“When you sell four indoor club seats, that's a big gift to the program,” Jennings said. “It's an unbelieveable problem to have.
“The problem now is telling the good donors that have always been able to call at the last minute for something, There's really nothing.”
