School: Solon High School.
High school highlights: The cornerstone of the Spartans' football dynasty, which captured three consecutive Class 2A state championships and won 41 straight games. A two-time Iowa Gatorade Player of the Year, he rushed for 2,248 yards and 40 touchdowns while collecting 70 tackles as a senior. His final career totals: 6,467 rushing yards (sixth all-time in Iowa), 113 TDs (third) and 686 points (third). A three-time state qualifier in wrestling at 215 pounds, earning fourth place in 2009 and 2010. Record the last three years was 107-14. A key relay member for the Class 2A state track champion, he ran on the winning 4x100 and runner-up 4x200 and shuttle hurdle units.
Future plans: Will play football at the University of Iowa.
