Jury selection in Coggon murder trial will continue Tuesday

Jury selection in the first-degree murder trial of Lee Muldoon, 25, of Coggon, will continue 9 a.m. Tuesday in Linn County District Court.
Sixth Judicial District Judge Marsha Bergan released the 32 people being questioned by attorneys for the evening about 4:30 p.m. They, along with the rest of the jury pool not dismissed Monday, were asked to return Tuesday.
Opening statements may start Tuesday afternoon.

The trial is expected to go three weeks.
Muldoon, also charged with child endangerment causing death, is accused of killing his girlfriend's daughter, 2-year-old Skylar Inman, July 11, 2008 in Coggon.
Skylar died from blunt force injuires, according to an autopsy.
