Mount Vernon volleyball team ranked No. 32 in national poll
Prepvolleyball.com ranks Mount Vernon 32nd in its preseason national rankings.
The Mustangs were Class 2A state champions last year, finishing with a 43-1 record and a No. 38 national ranking by prepvolleyball.com. They'll play in 3A this year, as will Waverly-Shell Rock, with is the only other Iowa team ranked - the Go-Hawks are No. 72.
