Cody Sacquitne's 36-yard touchdown run with 6:44 left last night lifted Decorah to a 21-14 win over Class 2A third-ranked New Hampton last night in a prep football game in New Hampton.Sacquitne finished with 96 yards on 10 rushes.“We played solid,” Decorah Coach Bill Post said.Casey Smith scored twice for the Vikings (1-1), on a 48-yard pass from Mitch Stalberger and a 20-yard run in the first half.“We challenged them all week long,” Post said. “Our seniors came through and they really played hard.”New Hampton had a chance late, but a fourth-and-10 pass from the Decorah 25 was knocked down by Grant Schwartz.
