It's the homestretch for Cedar Rapids Washington swingman Josh Oglesby and the recruiting process. The 6-foot-5 senior had an official visit to Iowa last weekend and will travel to the Twin Cities this weekend for an official visit to Minnesota. He'll also take officials to Arizona State and Illinois in the next couple of weeks before making a decision in his college destination.“There are a lot of people putting a full-court press on him who have been talking to him for a long time,” Washington Coach Brad Metzger said Tuesday.Coaches could begin having direct contact with recruits last Thursday, and Oglesby has been bombarded by his suitors since, Metzger said. Arizona State Coach Herb Sendek was making an in-home visit late Tuesday afternoon and Illinois Coach Bruce Weber and Iowa's Fran McCaffery also have made visits.Minnesota Coach Tubby Smith was at Washington on Monday for three hours, Metzger said.Washington senior guard Wes Washpun has gotten D-I offers from North Dakota and South Dakota State, Metzger said. Northern Iowa also has been showing interest.Washpun will make an official visit to UND this weekend.
