MARION -- Here is a peek at the new football stadium at Linn-Mar High School, shot before the Lions' football game with Cedar Rapids Prairie on Friday.The view is facing north.Light poles are in, as is the scoreboard (which, as you can tell, is in the way from good viewing from where I shot). The track is down (but not yet lined). The turf is in, and some of the seating has begun to take shape.The locker rooms are visible to the north.Still unnamed, the stadium is scheduled to be ready for the track and soccer season next spring. The football team will move there from Armstrong Field next fall.
