First-degree murder charge dropped in child’s death
A first-degree murder charge has been dropped against Danielle Holdgrafer, 30, in the death of her 4-year-old son.
Collin Parker William Holdgrafer died last June in a bathtub at his home in Andrew, Iowa. His mother, Danielle Holdgrafer, was charged with first-degree murder and her husband Andrew Holdgrafer, 32, was charged with Child Endangerment. Andrew Holdgrafer died of a heart attack in September.
Holdgrafer will face lesser charges of child endangerment resulting in the death of a child, and two counts of child endangerment resulting in bodily injury to a child.
