Grassley not voting to benefit Iowans

I encourage you to vote for Roxanne Conlin. She is intelligent, well qualified and cares about Iowans. She will answer your question without beating around the bush.
If you think Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, cares about the people of Iowa, check his voting record. He voted for the drug bill that gave windfall profits to drug companies. We can't import drugs or negotiate their prices. He voted for the bailout of the same Wall Street banks that robbed our 401(k)s and pension plans. He's for a tax cut for the richest 2 percent of the people. He voted for a subsidy for the oil companies that are making record profits.
The senator voted against the health care bill that would get insurance for everyone and didn't allow insurance companies to cancel you out if you got sick or had an existing illness. The senator is also against regulations on Wall Street so we don't get back into the economic mess we are in now and regulations on oil companies drilling off shore and ruining the lives of people on the Gulf Coast. He voted against an unemployment extension for the people who are still unemployed and their benefits ran out.
I wonder if he believes the garbage that he's putting out or is he just lying to us. He did get the lie of the year award on health care: “They are going to pull the plug on grandma.”
Vote for Conlin and send Grassley back to the farm.
