Today's top television offerings for college football fans:
1. Wisconsin at Iowa (2:30 p.m., KCRG) - Local interest, and all.
2. Oklahoma at Missouri (7 p.m., KCRG) - It's just a coincidence that the top two games here are on KCRG when KCRG and The Gazette are part of the same company.
3. LSU at Auburn (2:30 p.m., KGAN) - Les Miles, Gene Chizik. The SEC doesn't do warm-and-fuzzy.
4. Michigan State at Northwestern (11 a.m., ESPN) - Northwestern wrecked Iowa's perfect season last year. Just sayin', Spartans.
5. Iowa State at Texas (11 a.m., Comcast) - Two teams that beat Nebraska the last time they played the Cornhuskers.
6. Purdue at Ohio State (11 a.m., BTN) - Purdue is ahead of Ohio State in the Big Ten standings. Until about 2 p.m.
7. Washington at Arizona (9:15 p.m., ESPN) - A chance for Iowa fans to revisit the site of ... never mind.
8. Alabama at Tennessee (6 p.m., ESPN) - Tennessee once featured Peyton Manning. And Elvis Presley.
9. Penn State at Minnesota (11 p.m. ESPNU) - Minnesota's interim coach against Penn State's coach for eternity.
10. Countdown to Kickoff (2 p.m., KCRG) - Watch for the secret word. A hint: It rhymes with “orange.”
