Iowa voter total passes 2.1 million

A week ahead of the Nov. 2 election, more than 2.1 million Iowans are registered to vote, according to the Secretary of State's Office.
“In Iowa, 92-percent of the eligible voters in the state are registered to vote, said Secretary Michael Mauro.
Here's the breakdown:
As of today, there are 2,115,033 total registered voters in the state of Iowa (totals include active and inactive voters). The breakdown by political party is as follows:
* Democrat: 701,163
* Republican: 647,201
* No Party: 764,756
* Other: 1,913
* Total 2,115,033
At the beginning of October, there were 2,106,831 total registered voters.
Voter registration numbers by county and congressional, state House and Senate districts will be posted online Nov. 1.
