Linn County’s Barron has earned re-election
N/A
Oct. 27, 2010 6:12 pm
Lu Barron has provided strong leadership skills in carrying out the various duties of the Linn County Board of Supervisors. She has an open ear and an open door to listen to needs of all residents of Linn County, as well as District 1.
As more county services reach out to surrounding communities, Lu's leadership has resulted in being elected chair of the Metropolitan Planning Organization, the East Central Iowa Council of Governments, the Solid Waste Agency and Regional Workforce Investment Board.
She initiated the public leadership group, which is comprised of the elected officials of Linn and Johnson counties.
Currently, Lu serves as the Iowa representative on the National Association of County Officials.
She deserves your vote in her re-election bid in November.
