I am supporting Joe Clarahan for Linn County Treasurer in the election Tuesday. Joe has the right blend of skills and energy to lead that office to make the improvements that the residents of Linn County need and deserve.
Joe has done his homework and decided to run for this office because it is time for a change.
Joe will bring a fresh perspective and a can-do attitude. This will benefit all of us in the areas of communication and customer service.
Another area in the treasurer's office Joe wants to improve is in fiscal management. Joe has identified many opportunities to process transactions more quickly and to have our money working more effectively.
Whether it is property tax money or license plate money, we need someone who is going to be trustworthy and progressive in handling and managing that money, and Joe is the right choice. Let Joe hear your support with your vote Tuesday.
