Iowa Workforce Development C.R. office being investigated

Authorities are investigating suspected Iowa Workforce Development missing funds, possibly from the agency's Cedar Rapids office, a spokesperson said Friday.
Kerry Koonce, Iowa Workforce Development spokesperson, said there was an investigation started late summer, originated in the Cedar Rapids office of possible wrongdoing. She wouldn't confirm who was investigating the case - local, state or federal authorities.
Sandy Breault, media coordinator with Federal Bureau of Investigation in Omaha, Neb., said Friday she couldn't confirm the investigation.
Koonce said nobody had been arrested in the case.
