In politics, actions speak louder than words

Who will best represent you the next six years? Actions speak louder than words.
Chuck Grassley says he works for people. He says he's for better medical care, cutting costs, solving banking problems. He voted for no-bid pharmaceuticals. against health care, against better banking control. Large payments from each industry controlled his vote. He says he works hard for you, but his actions support big business.
Roxanne Conlin takes no money from PACs. And she beats big insurance and technology businesses in court.
Terry Branstad, retired, says cut taxes for a better business climate, develop 300,000 new jobs, improve schools, redesign state government. He said the same in 1983. He never got 300,000 jobs, he raised taxes 20 times and didn't redesign government, with state bonds rated A-.
In 2010, under Chet Culver, unemployment, though high, is below the national average, business climate is rated in the Top 10, bonds rated AAA, student achievement rated first or second. Culver has redesigned and downsized state government. Words or deeds?
In 2007, Mariannette Miller-Meeks said privatize Social Security. This year she changed her mind. She said she doesn't buy health insurance and others don't need it. As a retired Army officer, she has full VA medical benefits.
Meanwhile, Dave Loebsack works hard under difficult circumstances and accomplishes tax relief for small business and additional flood relief.
Support retirement for Grassley, Branstad and Miller-Meeks. Let your actions speak louder than words.
