Loebsack follows Pelosi agenda, not Iowans

It's Dave Loebsack vs. Mariannette Miller-Meeks for the 2nd District seat in Congress, and who does The Gazette endorse? Loebsack! I am amazed.

Isn't he part of the gang in Washington that has almost spent the country into bankruptcy? And isn't he part of the gang that is shoving a health-care program down the people's throats when two-thirds of the country didn't want this drastic change?

They (and Loebsack) don't listen to the people but are merrily skipping along with their socialistic agenda, following the yellow brick road with their Pelosi pals.

The Gazette's main point is that he is a good boy and went to Washington but came back home, with money, for the 2nd District. What a sham way to determine an endorsement.

Vote for Miller-Meeks and send Loebsack back to Cornell College and his academic world. Our country is more important than the short-term needs of the 2nd District.
