Miller-Meeks a proven success, deserves more

Women should be attracted to vote for Mariannette Miller-Meeks. She has competed with men in the medical field, in the military, in academics and in the small business world and achieved huge successes in every endeavor. To be named the first women to head the Iowa Medical Society speaks volumes of the respect she has earned.
Her military career would impress women and men alike. Coming from a low-income family, putting herself through community college, getting a nurse's degree and master's degree in education while working full time, getting a medical degree, teaching at two Big Ten universities (Michigan and Iowa), raising two children (and coaching soccer), having a successful ophthalmology clinic and having an intelligent and common-sense approach to issues demonstrates a high degree of accomplishment, compassion and determination.
If those criteria do not qualify Miller-Meeks for Congress in the 2nd District, what does? She has earned and deserves our respect and our support.
