Coralville traffic diverted for gas leak

A gas leak is disrupting traffic in Coralville this afternoon.
Coralville police tell us that a crew performing stormwater maintenance pierced a 2-inch gas line along Highway 6 near the new Clear Creek bridge just after 1 p.m.
There's no estimated time of repair. Traffic is being rerouted from Highway 6 onto Fifth Street.
There are no evacuations in the area, and no one has been hurt.
Coralville fire, police and MidAmerican Energy crews are on the scene.
