Nov. 5, 2010 6:30 pm
In a rematch of a Week 9 district title game, WACO comes to Lisbon with a trip to the UNI-Dome and the Class A state semifinal berth on the line.Fourth-ranked WACO won the previous meeting, 38-8, but #9 Lisbon is rolling after a 28-0 win over highly-touted BGM in the second round.
Waco comes in with the second-ranked odefense in Class A, allowing just 6.8 points per game. The WACO offense ranks fourth, scoring 40.6 points a contest.(Refresh for updates from this contest starting at 7 p.m.)We're about ready to go. Kickoff will be on time. The officiating crew is the same one from the Williamsburg/CCA game. I should start carpooling with them. Both teams drive deep into opponent's territory on opening possessions. Both defenses stand strong with big 4th down stands. 0-0 at end of 1st.
