Stop open enrollment at College Community

In re. the Nov. 10 Gazette story about enrollment growth at College Community:
A note to College Community school administrators: Quit crying! Stop the open enrollment. You have more than 500 open enrollment students this year. That's equivalent to a whole school.
Change your school boundaries. All students north of Highway 30 belong in the Cedar Rapids school district, not out in College Community. Let Cedar Rapids take responsibility for its students. They have better schools than we do.
