A big thanks to Carleen Grandon and the Indian Creek Nature Center for preserving a little bit of Cedar Rapids for the wildlife.
Part of the charm of living in the Glenbrook neighborhood has been the existence of these woods. It is nice to know that the turkeys, the elusive pileated woodpecker and other four-legged creatures will be undisturbed.
As close neighbors, we have observed, these woods seem to be part of a migration trail for birds. Thanks for seeing the necessity and all your efforts to preserve nature.
