Gingrich articles needed to focus on more

The Nov. 18 articles about Newt Gingrich's visit poorly represented his visit. Did you know that Mr. Gingrich, during a question-and-answer session at his book signing in the local Barnes and Nobles bookstore, was asked by a member of the audience to lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance? No American flag was present, so a member of the audience wearing a shirt with the American flag on it stood at the front while Newt led all of us in the Pledge. Do you have a clue that this took place?
Since your Gazette articles did not mention how many citizens attended the book signing, was the public informed about such interesting facts?
Your articles were about nothing more than just political power and money and dealt nothing about the American spirit. The Gazette has become an uninteresting newspaper of which fewer and fewer of us enjoy. What has happened to a newspaper that used to reach out to all citizens in the area? Are you void of the American spirit of our Founding Fathers?
