Carr to take official visit to UNI this weekend

CEDAR RAPIDS -- It appears likely that Alex Carr will play football in the Missouri Valley Football Conference.The question remains, which school?Carr, an all-state running back at Cedar Rapids Washington, said he will take an official visit to the University of Northern Iowa to explore a scholarship offer from the Panthers.He visited Illinois State last weekend."I've got to keep an open mind," he said Monday afternoon. "Iowa is still talking to me, but I don't want to lose an offer that I already have."Carr rushed for 1,687 yards and 23 touchdowns as Washington went 6-4 this fall.
