Another state honor for Stark

MOUNT VERNON -- Ali Stark has been named the Gatorade Iowa volleyball player of the year.Stark led Mount Vernon to a 41-0 record, a Class 3A state championship and a No. 6 national ranking by prepvolleyball.com.The 6-foot-1 senior outside hitter also was the state player of the year by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association.Stark will play next season at the University of Illinois.
