‘Hallelujah’ flash mob a great holiday gift

It was truly tremendous to join with more than 300 area singers in sharing “The Hallelujah Chorus” with surprised shoppers at Lindale Mall on Sunday. The “flash mob” choir - made up of musicians of all ages - packed the food court and created an incredible sound. Wow!
The cheers and tears at the conclusion confirmed that everyone involved - whether singing or listening - was moved by the moment and the music.
Thanks to Diana Nollen and others in the Midwest Chorale for conceiving this random act of culture and extending the invitation to bring so many together. It was a memorable and moving holiday gift for all. I hope it becomes an annual tradition!
