Cedar Rapids man hurt in snowmobile incident

LINN COUNTY – A Cedar Rapids man was injured Sunday afternoon in an incident involving a snowmobile, the Linn County Sheriff's Office says.
James Zahorik, 43, was riding a snowmobile in a farm field on private property north of Highway 151 in Linn County when he went up a hill and struck his arm on a sign post, according to deputies.
Zahorik was taken by ambulance to St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
Authorities say he was the only person on the snowmobile.
The incident remains under investigation.
