City crews praised for effort during Christmas

I would like to recognize the Cedar Rapids Public Works employees and Parks Department employees who gave most or all of their Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to make the streets safe so residents could make it to their destinations for the holiday weekend.
Their work also helped fire crews, ambulance and police get to emergency calls faster.
These employees are from the Streets, Traffic, Sewer, and Forestry divisions.
