Eddie Piccard’s jazz always worth visit

Nice review (Dec. 30) of the Lighthouse in Hoopla, but your reviewer left out the best part, specifically: Eddie Piccard's Quartet. The reviewer mentioned live jazz but not who is often the performer there. Most weekends, it's Eddie.
He and his players, drummer Jon Wilson, bassist Dave Green and Rich Martin on vibraphone, are Iowa treasures. My wife, Jean, and I have heard jazz from coast to coast, in Hawaii and Canada, much of it good, but little as good as Eddie's. We've been following them for over a decade and they never disappoint! And, there's no cover charge.
Go for the food, stay for the jazz as only Eddie plays it.
