Man’s act of kindness will not be forgotten

Recently my mother was at Mercy Medical Center Hospital in Cedar Rapids, spending time with my dad, who was hospitalized with pneumonia. One December day, she went to the cafeteria and selected her lunch items. As she was about to pay, the cashier informed her the man previous in line had paid for her meal. Before she could thank him or even catch a glimpse of his face, he was gone.
Mom was speechless and enjoyed sharing her story with others. Thank you, whoever you are, for your random act of kindness and spreading Christmas cheer.
