Parker honored as Midwest winner

Iowa City West Coach Mike Parker is the winner of the Central Sectional girls' track and field coach of the year.The Central section includes the states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan and Wisconsin. The NFHS Coaches Association is the official national coaches association of the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) and recognizes coaches at the state, sectional and national level.Parker coached West to the Class 4A state championship.
