Man charged after stabbing; sword, knife recovered

WATERLOO - A Waterloo man is in custody after police say he stabbed a person Wednesday afternoon.
Jeffery J. Moffett, 26, of Waterloo, was arrested and charged with willful injury, carrying weapons and going armed with intent.
Officers seized a sword and a small knife used in the stabbing, which police say occurred in the 700 block of Randolph Street. The incident was reported at about 4 p.m. Wednesday.
The victim was stabbed in the arm and cut on the throat. Police said the injuries were minor.
