Vick doesn’t deserve a second chance

Regarding the Jan. 9 letter of Ryan Ekland about Michael Vick: I am a dog owner and a dog lover. What Vick did to those poor animals - he starved them, taped their mouths shut, put them in little cages, and used a “raping machine” to breed more innocent dogs for his dog fighting.
Judgmental or forgiving is not the word. Those dogs were tortured. Of course, he paid for his crimes. Of course, he asked for the public's forgiveness. He got caught, what would you do?
A torturer is not a human being. I agree with Pat Langhurst's Jan. 4 letter: No second chance for Vick. Keep the innocent away from him.
