Act of kindness helped buy linens for charity

I wish to thank the unknown gentleman I met at the Iowa City Salvation Army store. I was picking up some linens with which to turn into World Relief comforters for both local and worldwide charities. He had asked what I would be using them for, and I told him that our small group called Comfort-tiers at our church (Our Redeemer Lutheran, Iowa City) had distributed some 680 of them just last year to our Crisis Center, Salvation Army, Shelter House, fire victims, Haiti, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia and so on.
Right before he left, he tossed a bill to me and left. I was very surprised - his “random act of kindness” paid for almost all I had selected! There shall be a few warmer bodies because of this.
