Road to the finals: Austin Blythe on his Day 2 performance
Williamsburg's Austin Blythe taped his second of daily interviews during the Iowa High School Athletic Association Class 2A state wrestling tournament at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.Blythe, who has signed to play football at the University of Iowa next year, is attempting to win his third state title and become a four-time state finalist. The top-ranked 2A heavyweight improved to 47-1 after earning a pin in the second round.Blythe talks about his relationship with Williamsburg head coach Grant Eckenrod, his superstitious nature and his previous performance and his next match, which is a semifinal bout with New Hampton's No. 5 Logan Hopp.
