Lake Macbride should be open to all boaters, fishermen

Lake Macbride should be open year-round to all boaters and fishermen.
First off, we all pay taxes toward renovation and upkeep of the lake. We also buy gas, fishing licenses, fishing tackle, boats, tires and on and on. Why should a few have their own “private lake” at our expense?
Also, any boat operating at no-wake speed will make less of a wake than a 10 horsepower boat operating at wide open (check it out). And another point is that 90 percent of the time, we will be fishing early morning or later evening so we won't be much of a bother. Another thing is that if they want to run their boats faster they will be on Coralville Lake. Let's be fair to all not just a few.
