No need to keep up with neighbors killing doves

Once again there is a bill to legalize dove hunting in Iowa. Supporters claim that neighboring states have hunted doves for years and a dove hunting season in Iowa would create more revenue with more hunting licenses.
As I see these awesome birds come to my feeder, it sickens me that anyone has a desire to kill them for any reason. Their beauty and grace are something to behold.
But certainly we wouldn't want to be any less than our neighboring states when it comes to the right to kill. So if our lawmakers feel the need for the bill to kill, please call it the Dove Bird Feeder Bill, or as I would prefer, Kill This Bill Forever.
