Looking hypocritical against communism
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Mar. 25, 2011 11:40 am
Why are the Republican Party and the mega corporations destroying the U.S. economy to support Communist China?
For as long as I can remember, the Republicans and corporations claimed they were protecting us from the dreadful communist menace, yet today they are shipping jobs and money to the communists. They have made us indebted to the communist menace. Where is their shame?
America has lost more than 100,000 lives and billions of dollars to fight communism only to see Republicans and corporations making profits from communist cheap labor. We have executed and imprisoned dozens of people for giving secrets to communists but now corporations and Republicans are giving patent rights and proprietary secrets to communists companies so they can put our people out of work. Patriotic they are not.
When the U.S. government or unions suggest programs or projects to improve our lives, the Republicans and corporations scream we have no money for those socialist programs. But they can take the Bush tax cuts to communist China to invest.
American wage earners' standard of living has not risen in 25 years. Republicans and corporations will not be happy until our wages are as low as communist China's wages. Republicans call for shared sacrifice. Show me the sacrifice that they wealthy and corporations are making, then we talk.
