No one held accountable in UI football fiasco

I see one of the pilots who flew too low over Kinnick Stadium was forced to retire and the rest faced discipline. It's too bad the university they flew over can't have the same standards.
No one was held accountable for an incident that put many University of Iowa football players in the hospital in very serious condition. The coach and team doctor wouldn't even come back to Iowa City to check on these players right away. A 90-day investigation gave the university plenty of time to cover this up. The investigation found the players were not on drugs. I didn't even think that was a logical explanation and if I was a parent of one of these players, I would have been upset when I heard the investigation was taking that direction.
University of Iowa Hospital workers were terminated for leaking out information regarding these players. I understand privacy laws and I also understand why the UI wanted to cover this up. I enjoy Iowa football and hate to see the way this program is going. Someone was in charge of that workout, and to just say it won't happen again is not enough.
Well, at least Iowa is almost in first place in convictions now.
