Wisconsin man injured when pizza truck crashes in Linn County

A single-vehicle accident outside Marion on Wednesday sent one man to the hospital.
Authorities say Gordon F. Beske, 61, of Wisconsin was driving a semi loaded full of frozen pizzas on Highway 13. He reportedly lost control of his vehicle and drove into the ditch where his truck landed on its side, spilling pizzas all over the ditch.
Linn County Sheriff's deputies, Marion police officers, state patrol officers, and Marion firefighters responded to the scene. Beske was taken to Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids with what authorities believe are non-life threatening injuries.
The accident is being investigated by the Linn County Sheriff's Office.
