God suffers when we fail to obey His laws

In these days of worldwide devastation and suffering, what is God trying to tell us?
Some personal thoughts: God's creative and evolutionary power is ongoing and is continually active in the geology, weather and ecosystems of our planet and the universe. We rejoice or suffer. God rejoices and suffers. He also suffers from our human lack of understanding and failure to obey His laws of loving relationships. We are called to be a blessing to our fellow human beings in times of joyful celebration or sorrow.
Our model is one who humbled Himself to show us the way.
