Oh, the poker we’d play without protection
The Gazette Opinion Staff

I am so glad I live in a country that sends thousands of young men to the Middle East to fight so I can have cheap gasoline. A country that allows speculators to get rich betting on the rise of oil prices even though we have a glut of oil (the oil companies could produce 200 million more barrels a day, ABC News reported). A country that fights those silly gay couples who want to have the same rights as I do. How dare they?
And especially a country that won't let me play a $1 poker tournament online with other players from around the world. Thank you, big brother, for protecting me from myself. But alas, I think I will move to God's chosen country, Israel. Even in His country, I can play poker online.
