Officials don’t feel pain of American people
The Gazette Opinion Staff
May. 3, 2011 5:53 pm
As I see it, we have put people in office who have told us they will take care of us. Well guess what? You haven't. Do we take the blame for it? No.
You say you are going to change America. You have not. Gas is almost $4 a gallon. Food costs are up. Do you care? No. You get driven where you need to go or get flown at our expense.
Tell me you want to help me and you feel our pain. Try living on a small bag of chips for three days or try coming home to a can of cold peas because you can't afford electricity because you needed food.
Everyone takes a bath in the same water because you have to save the hot water because your gas will be cut off.
You feel our pain? I think not. Those who come from dirt, you keep in dirt. Those who come from green, you keep in green.
You want to feel our pain? Then walk away from what you have and spend the week with us. Live as we live. Feel what we feel. Do that; then you will be a true person for the people.
