Republican Party is a party for the rich
The Gazette Opinion Staff

Thanks to Newt Gingrich we know now that the price of entry into the Republican presidential campaign is to support Rep. Paul Ryan's plan to end Medicare (in its present form).
Couple this with the Republican Party's attempt to turn Social Security over to Wall Street. Then mix in the Republicans' outright opposition to any health care measures, plus their opposition to anything that would help out a working person, and their incredibly shortsighted defense of tax cuts for the rich at a time of debt crisis and corporate welfare for the oil barons and the fat cats on Wall Street, and you get the true picture of the Republican Party: A party of, by, and for the filthy rich.
If you vote for Republicans, you are voting for the interests of the top 1 percent only.
